Residents of Labinkulu community in Moniya, Oyo State are grieving because a 24-year-old man named Abass Olalere was brutally killed by a gang of 12 unidentified men. The gang stormed Abass’s house late on a Saturday night, attacking him in front of his wife and three-month-old child. The community is in shock, coming together to discuss the tragic event. Abass’s wife, Omolayo Olalere, described how the attackers broke into their home, beat her and eventually killed her husband with various weapons and charms. Despite efforts to save him, Abass succumbed to his injuries. The incident has been reported to the local police, but authorities have yet to comment on the matter.
