Ogun Election Dispute: Supreme Court Postpones Judgment on PDP and Adebutu Appeals

The Supreme Court decided to delay its ruling on the appeal from the Peoples Democratic Party and their candidate, Ladi Adebutu, regarding the March 18 governorship election. A five-judge panel, led by Justice John Okoro, chose not to address the counter-appeals from the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission because they are focusing on Adebutu’s main appeal. Adebutu is trying to overturn the election result that declared Dapo Abiodun the winner.
