How Olayinka Plans to Secure Better Offers in His Career

Super Eagles striker Peter Olayinka will leave Serbian club Red Star Belgrade only if he gets the right offers, a source close to the player.

There were reports that Olayinka might leave the Serbian champions after one season due to family reasons. During the 2023/24 season, he helped the team win the Serbian Cup and the league title.

Olayinka, 28, joined Red Star at the start of the season after a successful four years at Slavia Prague, where he scored 50 goals and provided 26 assists in 182 appearances, winning seven titles.

The player is open to a transfer this summer, but it must be for the right price, the source said. “For now, we will keep observing. If better offers come, he will consider them.”

Despite his contributions, Olayinka was not always in the starting lineup. He recently shared how he overcame a challenging start to win two titles with Red Star Belgrade.

“Coming to Serbia was a major decision for my career. It was difficult to adjust in the first few matches, but I am grateful to God for how the journey has been so far,” he said.
